If you’re over 40 and you wish to have a baby, you can. Although there are increased chances of miscarriage or abnormalities in your baby, there are solutions to it so if you wish to have one, consult your doctor before trying conceiving.
If you have a certain condition in your genes that you do not wish your newborn to be affected from, consult a doctor before trying. There might be a solution to it if action is taken in time.
